Petros Filippidis (Greek: Πέτρος Φιλιππίδης; born 31 December 1962) is a Greek actor, theatre director and translator. He was one of the most popular Greek actors of modern times, who has appeared in many successful television series during the last two decades. In 1986 he graduated from the Karolos Koun School of Theatre. Filipidis was currently starred in the very successful television comedy series Peninda-Peninda (50-50) in Mega Channel. Filipidis took part in many ancient Greek theatrical comedies, such as Thesmoforiazouses, Ornithes, Maria Pentagiotissa, and many others. He became broadly known starring in the 1993 Mega Channel's comedy High Rock alongside with actor Tasos Halkias.
