Onyl Torres Movies, Biography & Filmography

ONYL started as a young actor for Dulaang Sibol and baritone soloist for the world-renowned Ateneo Glee Club. After finishing his AB Political Science, he pursued further studies in choral conducting at the UP College of Music and Asian Institute for Liturgy and Music. He made his professional theater debut at Repertory Philippines’ CINDERELLA in 2001 and has since become a sought-after performing artist for stage and television; and music director-vocal coach for summer workshops, musical plays, and corporate events. He was the man behind the success of the Peninsula Manila's Sing@Ning: Search for the Ultimate Voice; and was a Nominee for Best Musical Director for Repertory Philippines' JEKYLL AND HYDE and THE PRODUCERS at the 2012 and 2013 Gawad Buhay!, and Finalist for Best Musical Direction for Gantimpala Theater…
