Luis Mario Quiroz Acosta is a Mexican film, television and theater actor. Son of Enrique Quiroz Acosta and Teresa Acosta de Quiroz and brother of actor, broadcaster and producer Gerardo Quiroz , he began his acting career at an early age. In 1988, he received the Ariel Award for his performance as Carlos in the film Mariana, Mariana , by Alberto Isaac. As a child he was good at soccer , he played for Pumitas , where he was a winger from the age of eight until he was 16. His grandfather Francisco Quiroz Acosta played for Atlas and his brother Alfonso for Pumas.
