Jan van Weyde (born July 6, 1979, in Bonn; birth name: Jan Sluyterman van Langeweyde) is a German actor, comedian, and voice actor. Jan van Weyde grew up in Swisttal-Buschhoven and completed his acting training in various locations—including Chicago—as well as at the Arturo Acting School and the Film Acting School in Cologne. He first gained recognition in the early 2000s as the host of the VIVA television show *Interaktiv*. Van Weyde became known to a broad television audience primarily through his role as Xaver Steindle in the ARD telenovela *Sturm der Liebe* (Storm of Love), a character he portrayed on multiple occasions between 2005 and 2015.
