Helmut Friedrich Wilhelm "Helmfried" Graf von Lüttichau (born November 20, 1956, in Hanover) is a German actor, voice actor, and poet. Helmfried von Lüttichau hails from the Meissen noble family of Lüttichau. His father was an official in the Federal Intelligence Service (BND), and his mother was a bookseller. He received his acting training from 1977 to 1980 at the Otto Falckenberg School in Munich. At the beginning of his acting career, he performed primarily on the stages of various theaters. For instance, he acted at the Theater Wuppertal from 1980 to 1982, at the Schauspielhaus Frankfurt from 1982 to 1985, and at the Freie Volksbühne Berlin from 1985 to 1986.
