Frank Kessler (born December 14, 1961, in Ratingen) is a German actor. Frank Kessler grew up in Berlin-Schöneberg and initially completed an apprenticeship as an electrical machine builder. Alongside various professional occupations, he was successfully active in martial arts for many years. Among other achievements, he competed as a member of the national Taekwondo squad and in the Karate Bundesliga, winning numerous national and international titles between 1980 and 1992. In 2004, he attained the rank of Grandmaster (6th Dan) in Taekwondo and founded the first Berlin Taekwondo Association—now known as the TVBB. He also worked as a coach and examiner.
