David Wayne Young is an actor, writer, director and producer. David first began writing at the age of 6 and developed an interest in acting in the sixth grade. It was much later, while attending college that he met Christopher Strong in a screenwriting class. When Chris realized that David was an actor, he had him audition for the lead role in Illumination Cinema's first feature, Living After Midnight (2016). After becoming friends with Tyler and Chris on set, they kept in touch and continued to collaborate as an actor and consultant on their scripts. Thus, David became a part of Illumination Cinema.
