Clare is the third child of a big Irish family raised in Manchester, North West Uk. With a background of singing, dancing and general entertaining, it seemed a natural decision to pursue her love of the performing arts and train to be an actress. As Clare herself jokingly states "Everyone acts & entertains in my family. Just lucky to get paid for it". After graduating from Bretton Hall College of Performing Arts, she started out training adult special needs groups in drama and directing youth groups at Bradford Playhouse Theatre until she eventually made the transition to professional actress.
