Candace Kita Movies, Biography & Filmography

Born in Los Angeles but raised in England, Belgium and Texas, Candace Kita graduated from college with degrees in philosophy and contemporary religion. After postgraduate work in sociology, she chose to pursue her dream of acting. Shortly after arriving in Los Angeles, Candace became a series regular lead in all 40 episodes of FOX-TV's "The Masked Rider". She went on to take series regular roles in "Son of the Beach" on the FX Network, "Running with Scissors" on the Oxygen Network and "Dance Fever" on ABC-Family. Her most notable series recurring role was on ABC's "Complete Savages", portraying Mel Gibson's ill-fated girlfriend, Misty, doomed to die a new and horrible death at the end of each episode.
