Azean Irdawaty binti Yuseoef (26/2/2010-17/12/2013) is a Malaysian singer and actress who built her recognition as a pop singer in the early 1970's and rose to her primadona fame in silver screen from late 70's to early 80's. She was born in Alor Setar,Kedah,Malaysia and would loved to be called with her nicknamed "Kak Yan". Her career as an actress begins in her first feature Di-Belakang Tabir directed by Jins Shamsuddin. In the big screen, she had won two time awards for Best Female Actress in the 1st and 3rd Festival Filem Malaysia(FFM) through her acting as Faridah in Esok Masih Ada(1980) and Ruby/Zakiah in Langit Petang(1982).
